Mandarin Re Presents at Florida Re’s Agent Summit 2025

Mikhail Grishin, Chief Operating Officer of Mandarin Re, was honored to be invited by Florida Re, part of the MNK Group, to speak at their Agent Summit held on July 21st, 2025, at their Tampa office. 

The event brought together key agents, trading partners, and vendors for a full day of training, collaboration, and dialogue on the evolving insurance and reinsurance landscape. In his presentation, Mikhail shared Mandarin Re’s perspective on current market conditions and the company’s role as a growing global reinsurer. 

He highlighted Mandarin Re’s strategic expansion beyond Southeast Asia, with Latin America now accounting for more than half of its portfolio, and noted the company’s disciplined underwriting, strong loss ratios, and increasing engagement in the U.S. market. 

Mikhail also touched on upcoming initiatives, including the launch of a surety line and progress toward an AM Best rating. Throughout the session, he emphasized Mandarin Re’s identity as a flexible, partner-first reinsurer, committed to building tailored solutions through close collaboration with brokers, cedants, and tech partners like MANiT.
