LABUAN FINANCIAL SERVICES AUTHORITY (LABUAN FSA) – THE LIIA MEMBER MEETING & 25TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

After years of travel restrictions, the Labuan International Insurance Association, LIIA has successfully organized the Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA) – The LIIA Member Meeting & the 25th Annual General Meeting (Hybrid) whereby almost all members have physically attended the meetings.

 Mandarin Re, represented by its newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, Mr Redzal Mohamad who has participated in the meeting which was held on 24/06/2022. In this year event a total of 149 companies has participated and represented by their Principal Officers and Leaderships.

The Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA) – The LIIA Member Meeting has started by the welcoming remark by the Director General, Mr. Nik Mohamed Din Nik Musa and followed by the Chairman of LIIA, Mr Gerard Roy Suresh Sharma, welcoming all attendees. Mr. Nik Mohammed Din has updated the members on the Labuan IBFC’s Industrial Performance, number of new insurance licenses, as well as distributions of Gross Premium as of Q1 2022

Mandarin Re has also participated in the LIIA 25th Annual General Meeting held on the same day at 4.00pm. There were series of matters in the agenda such as confirmed minutes of AGM, Annual Reports, received and adopted the Audited Financial Statement (AFS), appointment of Honorary Auditors and other auditors as well as the election of the LIIA Office Bearers/Council Members for the year 2022-2024.
