Mandarin Re welcomes Mr. Helmi Md Nor as a Chief Development Officer for Asia Pacific

Helmi holds a BSc. in Business Administration from Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA.  After returning to Malaysia in 1997, he joined Labuan Reinsurance (L) Ltd in Kuala Lumpur Office in the Corporate and Development Department and later, the Underwriting Department.  In 2003, he was seconded to the Bahrain branch in the Kingdom of Bahrain, doing marketing and servicing of Middle East, North African, Turkish and Iranian markets, and also as the Head of Operations. He later joined a group holding company as a Senior Vice President in the Corporate and Business Development Department, doing mostly due diligence and corporate financing of the merger and acquisition exercises for the Group.  His last assignment before joining Mandarin Reinsurance was as the Head of Operations of an Insurance and Investment broking company.

Mandarin Re expects Helmi to significantly contribute into the progressive growth and establishing stronger position of Mandarin Re in the international reinsurance market and in Asia Pacific region in particular.
